From Lexington, take US 27 (Nicholasville Road) south towards Nicholasville.  Take the by-pass around Nicholasville (at the Golden Corral Restaurant, Applebee’s).  Continue on the by-pass, past the McDonalds, Bluegrass Powerboats, and Mahindra Tractors.  Our turnoff is approximately 4 miles past the McDonalds.

Watch for our blue Tourist Activities sign for Sugar Creek Resort.  Turn LEFT onto route 1268.  If coming from Garrard County, turn RIGHT onto 1268.  If coming from Lexington, DO NOT turn right onto 1268 towards Wilmore.

Travel out route 1268 4.3 miles. (You’ll pass Brumfield Lane, Bruner Road, United Methodist Church.)  At that point, 1268 will turn left.  DO NOT TURN LEFT-Continue straight ahead onto Sugar Creek Pike.  Stay on Sugar Creek Pike another 2.1 miles.  Keep to the left.  Watch for our mailbox after the dead end sign.  5800 Sugar Creek Resort is on the mailbox.  Drive up the gravel driveway past the log cabin and continue down the drive until you get to the stable.
